Google Cloud and Tezos Announced Partnership Agreement

Lately there has been a constant stream of news about Web3 projects. In this context, the news of a new partnership reached us, which we have been drawing attention to for some time. Google Cloud has been in talks with Tezos for quite some time. Finally, Google Cloud announced that Tezos will serve as a validator on the Proof of Stake blockchain. In this way, Google Cloud’s enterprise customers will be able to build Web3 applications using Tezos.

The Tezos Foundation Stated That Its Work Will Be Accelerated

Tezos Foundation will work with Google Cloud to promote the creation of Web3 applications on the blockchain. In fact, this situation has been applied experimentally before. However, it is official for the first time. It should be noted that fast access and interaction are extremely important for projects. This situation continues for a long time in the partnership.

Google Cloud, the cloud services division of Google, will serve as the validator for Tezos’ proof-of-stake (PoS) chain. Therefore, Google Cloud’s commercial customers will be able to build and deploy Web3 applications using the Tezos blockchain.

    Both Parties Will Benefit

Tezos and Google Cloud received the application in question with great joy. This is because the gap in their systems has been closed when it comes to transactions and applications. On the other hand, companies supported by Tezos can access various Google Cloud services and complete their development extremely quickly.

James Tromans, Google Cloud Web3 Engineering Manager, said, “We provide a secure environment for Web3 application developers. Today, we’re extending that trust to Web3 applications on Tezos.” He released a statement.

This Is Not The First Collaboration

As is known, this is not Google Cloud’s first collaboration with Blockchain. In September, the company had also agreed to run a verification node on the Ronin network. A month after that agreement, Google Cloud started providing blockchain nodes for Ethereum developers.

Google’s direct involvement in blockchain research in the new era raises question marks.
